Pile O' Pulleys
So I was able to finish the pulleys today! Went over to Mass Art yesterday but the shop wasn't open. Hung around for an hour and a half waiting but no luck. Was able to get in and get them done today though. Sets me back a day in my schedule: I'd hoped to be able to design the holding plates today and fabricate them tomorrow.
It's pretty cool to make something that has some degree of precision out of a hunk of aluminum rod.
Still haven't figured out the drive train for this- the motors, gearing, etc.
